Just thought I'd mention that Operation StarFall, that thing that started out as a petition to get Nintendo and Square Enix to utilize the characters from Super Mario RPG more, up to and including seeing Geno in Smash Bros., now has a website and multiple social media outlets.  They've also got lots of plans and things to share to keep the buzz on this game and its characters flowing, so I highly recommend checking them out.
